BALLET: Our ballet program offers a structured yet inspiring environment to master the timeless art of ballet.

 

Class Offerings:
-Beginner Ballet Classes: Pre-Ballet (ages 5-6)

-Leveled Ballet Classes (levels 1-5)

-Pointe Class (a minimum of 2 regular ballet classes required)

Description: Our beginner classes (Pre-ballet and Level 1) introduce students to the fundamental techniques of ballet. Focusing on basic positions, simple steps, and an introduction to barre work, these classes build a strong foundation while fostering a love for dance. For those with some ballet experience, our intermediate classes (Ballet 2-3) dive deeper into technique, alignment, and musicality. Students will expand their repertoire of movements, develop strength, and enhance their performance skills. Ballet 4 and higher is tailored for serious ballet students aiming to refine their technique and artistry. Focusing on complex choreography, advanced barre and center work,  dancers will be challenged to reach their full potential.

Pointe and Pre-Pointe: Only with teacher's recommendation

Description: Pre-pointe classes prepare dancers for the challenges of pointe work by strengthening ankles and feet. Pointe classes are for those who have demonstrated readiness, focusing on proper technique and injury prevention.

​

Dress Code:
Girls: Leotard, pink tights, ballet slippers, hair neatly secured in a bun.
Boys: White T-shirt, black shorts, black ballet slippers.

JAZZ: Our Jazz classes are designed to inspire dancers of all ages and skill levels, combining technique with creativity in a dynamic and fun environment.

Description: Perfect for those new to Jazz dance, our Novice classes introduce students to the basics, including fundamental movements, rhythm, and coordination. Through fun and engaging routines, dancers will build a solid foundation and develop a passion for Jazz. Our Trans Jazz classes are for dancers with some experience looking to enhance their skills. Focusing on more complex combinations, flexibility, and stylistic elements, these classes help dancers build confidence and versatility. Progressive Jazz classes challenge experienced dancers with intricate choreography, advanced techniques, and performance skills. Emphasis is placed on precision, dynamics, and expression to prepare dancers for high-level performances. Our jazz classes require a ballet class to attend.

Girls: Form-fitting dance wear (such as leotards, jazz pants, or dance shorts), jazz s
hoes, hair pulled back.
Boys: Fitted T-shirt, jazz pants or shorts, jazz shoes.

TAP: Our Tap classes cater to dancers of all ages and experience levels, offering a lively and engaging way to explore the art of rhythm and sound.

Descriptions: Our Novice classes introduce the fundamental techniques of Tap dance. Students will learn basic steps, timing, and rhythms while developing coordination and musicality in a fun and supportive environment. Designed for those with some Tap experience, our Trans tap classes build on basic skills and introduce more complex combinations and rhythms. Dancers will improve their precision, speed, and performance quality. Our Progressive tap classes challenge experienced dancers with intricate footwork, advanced rhythms, and dynamic choreography. Emphasis is placed on performance skills, musicality, and technical excellence.

Girls: Comfortable dancewear (such as leotards, dance pants, or leggings), Tap shoes, hair pulled back.
Boys: Fitted T-shirt, dance pants or shorts, Tap shoes.

LYRICAL: Our Lyrical classes are designed to connect movement with music, offering a beautiful blend of ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance styles.

Students will learn basic movements, musical interpretation, and emotional expression, creating a solid foundation in this captivating dance style. For those with some dance experience, our Trans classes focus on enhancing technique, flexibility, and artistry. Dancers will explore more complex choreography and learn to convey deeper emotions through their movements. Finally, our Progressive lyrical classes challenge experienced dancers with intricate choreography, advanced techniques, and intense emotional expression. Emphasis is placed on performance quality, improvisation, and connecting deeply with the music. Lyrical classes require a ballet class to attend.

Girls: Form-fitting dance wear (such as leotards, dance dresses, or dance tops and shorts), eclipses or barefoot, hair pulled back.
Boys: Fitted T-shirt, dance pants or shorts, foot undies or barefoot.

MUSICAL THEATER: Musical Theater classes are perfect for aspiring performers who want to enhance their stage presence and dance skills through the vibrant and dynamic world of musical theater.

-Novice Musical Theater

-Trans Musical Theater

-Progressive Musical Theater

Descriptions: The Novice MT classes introduce students to the basics of musical theater dance, including foundational dance techniques, simple choreography, and basic acting skills. Students will learn to combine singing, dancing, and acting to tell a story on stage. Our Trans MT classes focus on more complex choreography, character development, and stage presence and are perfect for those with more experience. Dancers will work on integrating their dance and acting skills to perform more advanced routines. Progressive classes are designed for experienced dancers and performers. These classes challenge students with intricate choreography, advanced acting techniques, and performance skills, preparing them for auditions and stage productions. Both Trans and Advanced levels require a ballet class to attend.

ACRO: Perfect for dancers who love to tumble and flip, our Acro program combines the grace of dance with the strength and agility of acrobatics.

Classes Offered:

-Acro 1

-Acro 2

Description: Our Acro 1 classes introduce the fundamental techniques of Acro dance, focusing on basic acrobatic skills, flexibility, and strength. Students will learn to safely perform simple tricks and incorporate them into dance routines. Our Acro 2 classes challenge more experienced dancers with complex acrobatic sequences, advanced tumbling, and intricate choreography. Dancers will refine their technique and learn to execute impressive tricks with precision and artistry. Teacher recommendation required for Acro 2.

CREATIVE MOVEMENT: These classes are designed to introduce children to the basics of dance in a fun and nurturing environment, fostering creativity and self-expression.

​

Description: Our toddler classes focus on basic motor skills, coordination, and rhythm. Through playful activities, music, and storytelling, children will explore movement and learn to express themselves creatively. Children will engage in imaginative play, develop body awareness, and enjoy a variety of movement activities that enhance their physical and cognitive development.
